Sedated’s roster revamp brings renewed hope of reaching the promised land. The core 3 of willzki, zondo and telly remain, joined this time around by two former awakening members; nilla and reflex. Is the third time the charm for this roster? I talked with newcomer reflex aka Louis to learn more.

Lewy. You enter LAN3 with a Sedated squad, after having a great LAN2 with Nemesis, despite a 5/6 finish. How are you & the boys feeling going into LAN3?

We’re feeling great. I think we have a really deep map pool, and honestly, every single person on this team has the ability to take over a game. There’s a lot of confidence in this group. We’ve put the work in, we know what we’re capable of, and now it’s just about showing it at LAN. – reflex

You didn’t have all that much time to prep for LAN2, joining the pugs in late spring/early summer of 2025. What have you learned over the last year or so?

Angles, angles, angles. Most people know COD2 is literally the only game I play – it’s the only game installed on my computer. From when I joined to where I am now, it’s honestly just been a constant learning process. I watch a ton of VODs, pay attention to what better players are doing, and try to pick up something every time I play. I’m definitely a completely different player now than I was going into LAN2. – reflex

Sedated have always been known as a well-prepared team going into these events. You & Nilla join the established core 3 in what on paper is a very talented roster. What do you expect to bring to the roster?

My jovial spirit, obviously. But honestly, I don’t really look at it as what I bring to Sedated as much as what this team has already brought out of me. I learned a ton from my previous teams and I’ll always give them credit for that, but the structure and preparation here has taken things up another level. Everyone knows what’s expected, everyone puts the work in, and I think that environment makes me a better player. I’m here to do my job, bring energy, and help us win. – reflex

Is there a team you are personally excited to face in Columbus?

Honestly, I wish I could play everyone. Eric and John are always favorites if we get the chance. I loved playing Eric in the last play-ins and at LAN – especially screaming at him through the glass. But yeah… I’ve definitely got my eyes on a few people. They know who they are. – reflex

Q: I think it goes without saying that there’s a group of teams that would be disappointed to not win. What have you guys done to make sure that it will not be Sedated going home disappointed?

Practice. You wanna talk about practice?! We’ve poured a lot of time into this game. The preparation has been serious, everyone has bought in, and we know what we’re going there to do. This team was built for LAN. SO LET’S RIDE.

HMMMMMM… depends whose piss, tbh. But I’m going with JOCCO COOKING. – reflex
