This mut!ny core boasts a trio of legends from the early 2000’s. The boys add in two farmers, broa and mikey to try and make a run in Columbus. I talked with cruizer to get his thoughts when the original roster was formed. I spoke with Panther again this week to get an update.

The boys are back, and one of the oldest cores in the history of the game.. how did it come together?

Pretty much made a promise 2 years ago that if there was a chance to create mutiny 2.0 and throw the limers on again we would embrace it. Did I think panther would leave a top team in the game and join up with LOOSE and trigger all this? No shot. But I’m a man of my word so here I am, keeping promises. – cru!zer

What are the expectations for the group? Are we expecting more serious or more fun?

We are naturally competitive but also naturally clowns so we want to win and the road to get there will invevitably be a blast. Winning IS fun. I think a top 5 LAN finish is possible and a top 5 LAN drunkest is the lock of the century. – cru!zer

Broa and loose have played together on 4 different rosters now, what keeps broa attached to you guys?

We call him LOOSE’s baby goat, fed from the teet. Maybe he has daddy issues and sees us all as a father figures, not really sure. We ask the same thing. I like to think we are just a cool group of non emo guys with no baggage that can frag out sometimes. And that is what is appealing. And also for protection and free margaritas. – cru!zer

How has the progress been coming along? What’s one team you really want to beat moving forward?

We are still pugging and getting used to each other but we have all played together already so it won’t take long to get the ship moving in the right direction. mut!ny gam!ng has no enemies but panther has hundreds so we will absorb that as a team and say EVERYONE. LOOSE said he wants to embrace his villian arc, much like when Hulk Hogan joined nWo. – cru!zer

Newcomer mikey is brought on to finalize the roster. What is the goal of this group for LAN3?

We are thrilled to have Mikey on our team and he brings years of experience as a sniper. I knew Mikey from our battles with farmers back in 2021. Very solid player and has that “pop off” ability. We don’t like to set limits for our squad, but we expect to at least be playing on Sunday. We are happy with our group and see a few key matchups that will make or break our tournament. I personally think we have the talent to “overachieve” and make a deep run on Sunday. – panther

You personally have some famous discord beefs. Now that the showmatch is no more, what is your most exciting bet or opponent to face?

Don’t remind me, not playing the show match is very disappointing. We were excited about having the opportunity to kickstart the event and show everyone who we are, and what we are about. Nonetheless, we have some very intriguing matchups during group play that will be fun and challenging. I am most looking forward to our matchup with rat. They have had my number personally in recent matches and I would like to show them there are levels to this game on LAN. – panther

Who are you most looking forward to talking shit to?

The shit talk is just for fun, I am sure I’ll be extra pumped up during our matches and may yell out some profanities. It’s all for the love of the game and competition. – panther

If you lose and are negative, is this it for you?

I don’t plan on going negative at LAN. I am a known LANimal, but either way I will be taking a long break from the cod2 scene, at least until LAN 4 is announced and official. – panther
