The cleaning crew are back with an unchanged roster from LAN2 where they made a finals run, ultimately falling to Bricked Up. The team has been on a run of good form online, taking a few cup victories over the past few months. Will LAN3 be their turn? I sat down with Gl4d to learn more.

After a sweet run at LAN2, the J roster is unchanged heading into LAN3. I think it’s fair to say again that the goal is to win. What is different for you guys this time around?

That is always the goal, I feel the main difference is more time as a team getting to know each others tendencies and where we like smokes/pushes to come from kind of what we just expect from each other.

J is coming off a few cup victories recently and seem to be in pretty good form. Is it more about keeping this form, or can you take it to another level in 2 weeks?

I say the goal is for sure to continue making strides to get ready for the main event but for sure can take it to another level have a couple things to run when the big games begin, think from last lan until now it was just a grind of finding things to keep you locked in but travelling to accomplish something will bring the best out of the squad. – Gl4d

You’ve been known to play almost any gun, even have been seen with the shotty on rail. That kind of versatility is a big park of any teams success. With that, you guys have the opportunity to switch scopes as well. Is that something that was kind of planned out, or how did it come together?

For sure versatility helps keep things fresh and different looks because at times we may look kind of I guess you can say stale and you know what is coming but when someone else might pick up another gun because they see something it cant hurt you, it kind of came together simply because I use to shotgun and it gives Harold a nice little break to not be on an island that shotgunners can kind of at times feel like they are on. The scope switching we do as people have seen just kind of naturally came on the feel of the game. – Gl4d

Is there any team you’re looking forward to facing?

Team I am looking forward to playing the most is probably Sedated I think we scrim them probably the most and its usually a nice back and forth battle of us beating them one day and them returning the favor the next. – Gl4d

I think it goes without saying that there’s a group of teams that would be disappointed to not win. What have you guys done to make sure that it will not be J going home disappointed.

To ensure we are not one of those teams kind of just comes natural when you see some teams from the previous one that kind of underperformed and not want to be on that list and even when we lost to bricked kind of left a bad taste in our mouth and feel we have unfinished business. – Gl4d
