Regicide: wrenches, carbs, thomas, Birdman, bcj

Regicide is a new roster that seemingly came out of nowhere leading up to LAN2 in Columbus, OH. Many folks in the community are familiar with the names, but it was still a little bit surprising to see this roster form pretty much out of nowhere. It’s going to be exciting to see the mystery of the team unfold. On one hand, it seems to be a chill, laid back for fun roster. On the other hand, this is a roster led by wrenches, meaning that this team automatically has a lot of firepower and upsetability. The results curve for this roster will be determined on how seriously they decide to take it. Filled with a fun mix of Battalion, cod4, cod2, (and even other games!) players, instantly adds to the intrigue of this roster.

Birdman, formerly of the gotem name, and most recently, farmers & fAMILY rosters, brings a wealth of cod2 experience and pedigree. Not only skilled on the Battlefield, the man has recently been holding it down in booth providing immense entertainment for the community. Wrenches has made splashes in multiple games, and brings his 3rd place run with +forward back In February’s LAN1 in Texas to this team. Bcj, a pro in multiple other games, will try to bring that same magic in October. Overall, this team has the experience and pieces to fight toe to toe with the goliaths, if they choose. Not to mention the love the community has for all of the members of this roster, it was an absolute pleasure to hear that this group would be attending. We look forward to seeing how the roster unfolds, and glad that it means they’ll be playing with us over the next few months.
