The first domino of pre-LAN free agency has fallen, with Nemesis confirming their 5 for Columbus. With the Superman & Cpt. Miller not being able to attend LAN 2, Nemesis was on the hunt for two to solidify the roster.

Nemesis impressed this season, going 9-5 and taking 3rd in Group B this regular season as a newly formed group in GOTN Season 1. In the playoffs, Nemesis took down an impressive Awakening team in Round 1, before dropping to Janitorz and x6 to finish 5-6. It was a positive result, and maybe one the group probably didn’t envision before they started the season. The bar has now been set, and with the two new additions, the team will hope to elevate into the upper echelon just in time for the most important event in the second half of 2025.

The first announcement came last Wednesday when Nemesis confirmed the addition of reflex. The fake american also going by Lewy, or Lewis, joined the scene 3 months ago in the middle of GOTN S1, joining the ex-M80, rebranded as family roster, that had gone on a short break prior to him joining. Reflex will bring a wealth of online & lan experience, and with 3 months to prepare together with the squad, could make for a very fine pairing going into LAN2.

One day later, the team confirmed the ex-farmer, +vibe standout broa. Arguably (not really) the biggest free agent name this offseason, Nemesis made sure to lock this one in. broa continued to impress this season, putting together MVP caliber performances, and willing his team to victory at times. Although the group maybe didn’t make it as far as they wanted, it was an admirable ride for the last minute pug team that formed just a week before the season started.

The community is eager to see what this group can accomplish. Both of these gentlemen will be given the opportunity to play pressure-filled games on this roster, in an era of cod2 where there is still parity to found across the “tiers”. In the next three months rankings will change, and this group will have an opportunity to write its own history. With heatoo at the helm, and berry the plant king throwing heat seeking missle nades, this team will be one to watch going forward.
