Group B finally began to show some clarity after week 5, as the massive group near the middle has started to separate. This week, we flew down to France, where Old School took control of their destiny, with two big wins on Carentan, against fAMILY & +VIBE. They now hold a half game lead over 5th place UP, who took down fAMILY, and have still yet to play Janitorz this week. Ultimately, that 4th seed will very likely come down to a week 7 matchup between the two.

Elsewhere in the group, x6 took down nephilim and +VIBE, in what ended up being tough weeks for both of those teams in the playoff race. It looks like they’ll have some work to do in the placement tournament to try to make the playoffs. Nemesis also took down Nephilim 13-5, to go to 6-4 in sole possesion of 3rd place. fAMILY have fought hard this season, losing many close matches. But ultimateley they too, sit on the outside looking in.

Performance of the Week (Group B): sixxer

Unknown Players got their season back on track, taking down a must win vs fAMILY this week. They still have Janitorz to play on Carentan (likely next week), but they were able to stop the slide. While it may not seem like much, a win is a nice way to move on and look forward. They’ll take on Nephilim and Nemesis on Burgundy next week.

Match of the Week (Group B):

Well, ultimately this one ended up not delivering as much as expected. Janitorz took the reigns early, and Nemesis were unable to make much of this one, despite starting on Axis. Janitorz is currently in top form, as they stay undefeated. They’ll have Old School & +vibe on burgundy, as well as a makeup vs UP on Carentan next week. Nemesis have UP & x6.
