The goons have started the league an impressive 3-0, but will be going into a slew of tough matches against the top seeded teams. They face +forward today at 9:30est LIVE on GOTN. Now that the roster has reached 6, it seems like the poaching will not commence any further. Or will it? I sat down with the man who was poached so that they could make this all happen, Tripel.

Q: Goons have started an impressive 3-0, but definitely have a tough stretch coming up. What does the team have in store for the top seeds?

A: Well we are just getting started. After being poached, the talent on this team was obvious. I have a good relationship with athn as he was the coach for me in battalion and helped me a ton with IGL duties as well as big picture stuff. He has great vision for 5v5 fps games and brings a lot to the table. Sam is just scratching the surface with his potential. 1200 is an absolute stud and I have experience playing Hell Let Loose with him and he can do it all. Amx (zexi) is a playmaker and can pop off at anytime and steal huge rounds.

Q: What have you brought to the team since signing?

A: I have brought stability and game knowledge to this team of cod4 and battalion alumni to show them the ropes, providing consistent output on shotgun and a voice to plan and execute setups. We are just getting started. Since joining each person on the roster has carried a map at times and we all have the ability to, we just need reps and consistency. We have some nades now. Goons will be dangerous with time.

Q: You’ve got +forward in what’s looking like an upper half of the group showdown now. What are your thoughts going into that match on Toujane; and how is the team feeling?

A: As far as +forward is concerned, I like them all, also fuck’em. They have a very good roster and should give us a good run. Though I believe some people are playing roles other than where I would assign them. We feel good and have been playing very well on that map recently so tune in and find out.

Q: Obviously you were poached a few weeks ago to be goons new 5th. What is up with the gooners and poaching??

We will poach. We also just added syyko. Don has been a joy and has been fragging now that he’s free from shotty hell. We will steal you. #broastfu
