1. Bricked Up
Bricked Up come into Season 1 as the favorite and the team to beat. Fresh off a LAN victory at the GGEZ Gaming Cafe in Plano, TX, the team also took down the first post-lan cup together, going a flawless 7-0 through groups and playoffs.
Few doubt the skill of the individulals on the roster. It’s a roster that has accomplished everything together recently. If you had to nitpick, out one potential vulnerability of the squad will be the likelihood that the same 5 will not be able to practice together all the time. With Doug set to miss some time over the next few weeks, that will only add to the roster shuffle. To quell that fear, the team has picked up LAN standout woody from Janitorz, as well as cap to fill in when needed. Woody’s activity will help the team have a chance to play and gel together much more than they were able to pre lan. Don’t be surpised if he plays in more matches than not, which would make this an even more impactful signing. The past, and the future are bright for Bricked Up.
With arguably the best shotgun in the game, 1Shot? and a top scope in myLo, this team has the bones to keep their form up. The biggest test for this group during the group stage will be +forward. I can’t see them dropping more than 1-2 matches all season.

Prediction: 13-1 (Group A)
2. Check Six
In a lose-lose situation, the fans get a biased take straight from the source. There isn’t much that can be said without being scrutinzed, but it’s hard to deny that the ascent of this team has been noticed. The team put together in late December, and lineup finalized just one month before LAN, have taken the scene by storm. After finishing second at LAN last month, and second in last weeks cup, there is really no other place to put this team.

Prediction: 14 draws (Group B)
3. Plus Forward
The only way to describe this team is: shooters. There is no doubt about the talent of this team. America’s favorite pug team has the pieces that it needs to be successful, but the clear path to success involves a little bit of teamwork and stratting. For that, the team has brought in panther, aka panfer, aka lonnie sins to lead the way. The man with endless experience, endless ego, and endless chatter joins the team after meticulously dodging February’s LAN with two separate teams.
All jokes aside, the addition is a clear improvement to an already very good roster. This team will be a force to be reckoned with and it is almost a disservice to have them at number 3. Give this team a few months and they can easily be in the running for a higher spot. With wrenches on a new wall or house that you didn’t know existed, and shell’s calm kill everything that he sees (and doesn’t see), this team can make a huge splash. Zack and Kosmo round out this fantastic team. Special shoutout to my boy cruizer, joining as 6th man.
This team will give bricked up a run for their money in the group, but will ultimately fall just short.

Prediction: 11-3 (Group A)
Contenders
4. Awakening
One team that has impressed hot out of the gate is Awakening. The team boasts a prominent High Noon trio that teamed up with xlzz and neo post lan. Despite only being together for a few weeks, you can tell the chemistry is already starting to build on this team. Boasting a legendary throwback tag, they are giving look good, feel good, play good vibes. In just their first cup, the team impressed majorly finishing T-2 in their group. Who knows what could have been, as the team wasn’t able to make it through due to tiebreaker, but they put on an impressive show nonetheless, with their two losses coming on a new map, and a 13-11 to finalists.
The thing that makes Awakening scary is that any possible improvement in this team could see them soar through the ranks. Looking at their group, it wouldn’t shock me if this team made a big statement. Nilla stayed true to his word, telling us last week that you would see different looks at different guns from this team. So far, this has worked to their advantage. Let’s see what else they have in store for us.
Oddsmakers have this exact fivesome at +200 to attend LAN. We hope they prove us wrong.

Prediction: 10-4 (Group A)
5. Janitorz
The cleaning crew has taken a step back in 2025. Finishing out 2024 and beginning 2025, they were the team to beat. This corps enjoys multiple cup tiltes to their names, so it’s obvious that skill isn’t the issue with this team. The team experienced a huge roster change, and they haven’t quite yet found their feet, with a few members playing different roles from the prior months. Roster changes are usually a bumpy road, and this one is proving to be no different.
It shouldn’t phase this team much though. There is absolutely no reason this roster can’t make it back to where they belong. Once the team is really able to get more time in together, the sky is absolutely the limit for the team. Last weeks cup is one they surely would like to, and will forget.
New (old) comer jay, will look to bring a spark to the team. His past fimiliarity should also be a benefit to the team. In addition, the team made another high profile move and have decided to bring in Gl4d, formerly of high noon to bolster the roster. Gl4d’s skill and experience should bring this team some much needed confidence. I expect them to make a full cleaning to the upper echelon this season, mopping up the competition.

Prediction: 11-3 (Group B)
6. Wizards
One team that has been rising quickly are the Wizards. The team formed just a few months ago, full of potential. Although they have had their glimpses, I think the team would agree that they have not gotten to the level that they would have liked to be at. The LAN performance was a bit of a disappointment, but should serve as a huge learning experience.
One change the team made this offseason, is bringing in redz, formerly of blackout, at the shotgun position. We knew he was a man of many talents, but getting him the shotgun could be the move he, and the team both needed. The team lost a community favorite in Syyko to make the change, but so far so good. The team has looked quite strong, including a playoff run in the last cup, finishing in the final four. If the team can continue that form, the sky is the limit for them.
The five horsemen will look to continue to build on their recent success. If they keep their heads down, continue to work together and put in the work, we should be worried.

Prediction: 8-6 (Group B)
7 Unknown Players
Unknown Players are one of the biggest mysteries going into the season. We have seen this team put on some amazing performances, and keep up top form for long periods of time, including multiple cup finals in 2024 & 2025. However, the team is in a bit of a rut at the moment. Not helping their recent issues is the news of ethix stepping back from competitive play for an undisclosed amount of time. One of the most experienced players in the franchises history, it’s no hiding that it will be a big loss. But not to fear, the team has signed cod2 OG nova` to the roster, who has previously teamed with caseman and brings a plethora of experience to the roster.
Like some of the other roster changes around the league, there is potential for a bit of growing pains while the new counterpart gels. However, all the teams around the league know that when scope sixxer is on, the team can be very tough to beat. To return to their top form, they will need him more than ever. For what is one of the most experiences rosters on the circuit, you can’t count them out of anything.
If the team can pause for 30 minutes during matches to not yell at caseman, they can make a run. Trump and nightmare are pure shooters who can catch fire and help propel this team to where they want to be. Catch them on the golf course, or in the server.

Prediction: 8-6 (Group B)
Dark Horses
8. Old School
Old School came out and took the scene by surprise this week, putting up an impressive performance in the cup. Although the team fell to x6, wizards, and awakening, they put in an impressive performance against Janitorz on dawnville, winning 13-10. A statement win like that fresh off the team forming is going to quickly put you on the map.
Old School brings together a few names old school names from the OG call of duty 2 community, and pairs them with some international flavor. South American strafizar, and euro turned mexican Jocco give this team an incredible international flair to pair with a few americans and a few canadians.
It’s too early to tell if the team can continue to put in performances like that one, but if they can they will be a dark horse to watch.

Prediction: 7-7 (Group B)
9. Goons
Our little troublemakers head into the season amidst a little bit of drama. First, a disagreement with a teammate, which caused them to poach their new 5th. Tripel will offer the team a new outlook on the game, as he comes into a talented lineup. The goons won’t take many by surprise, as their highs are incredibly high. The team had a down cup, but look for them to put together some solid wins over the course of the season.
1200 on the scope leads this team and when he is on, the team can really perform at the next level.
Maps: Breakout TLS
Prediction: 7-7 (Group A)
10. Farmers
Farmers are coming off a bit of a roster shuffle of their own, seeing the team essentially split in two. The team retains four of their members from pre-lan, and adds three new names to the roster, forsaken, birdman and illness. There is definitely enough firepower on this team to make waves. Losing key man broa, who formed his own team will be a big loss for the group. The team will need to figure out the right starting 5, but with mikey at scope, anything can happen.
Maps: Toujane
Prediction: 7-7 (Group A)
TBD
For the rest of the teams, there is just not enough data. There are plenty of teams that I can see moving into the top 10 and up the leaderboard after just a few matches. Looking forward to seeing them, this season.
